Hi, I'm Alice! The founder, maker, and creative mind behind Cedar & Sky Co.
The name Cedar & Sky reflects two of my greatest passions: creativity and aviation. A few years ago, I started diving deeper into my artistic side, and what began as a hobby quickly grew into something much more meaningful.
I've always had a love for jackets, and one day, I decided to try making one myself. My second creation was stitched from an old, cozy blanket I had tucked away—and that simple project sparked the beginning of this journey: transforming forgotten textiles into something new, functional, and beautiful.
Each piece is entirely one of a kind, thoughtfully handmade and upcycled from vintage or pre-loved materials. Every jacket carries its own story, and no two are ever the same.
The Alice Jacket
The Alice Jacket is named after my grandma Alice- the same incredible woman I was named after. I never had the chance to meet her, but I’ve always felt connected to her through our shared love of sewing. She was a talented seamstress whose craft and creativity live on through the stories I’ve heard about her. Creating these pieces makes me feel close to her in a really special way.
This jacket is my way of honoring her legacy, the quiet inspiration she passed down to me without us ever crossing paths. Every stitch carries a piece of that connection, blending her history with my own journey as a maker.
